Debbie Scorah
FOUNDER
The Social Sort
Debbie began her career in radio, working in sponsorship and promotions for EMAP Radio. It was there that she discovered her passion for promoting events, which led her to join legendary promoter Harvey Goldsmith. As Marketing Director for seven years, she worked on some of the biggest live events in the world, including Live 8, Bruce Springsteen’s tour, and Cirque du Soleil.
When Stuart Galbraith left Live Nation to establish Kilimanjaro, Debbie was the perfect choice to head up the marketing division. She played a key role in shaping the strategy for Sonisphere Festival at Knebworth, as well as major tours for Stereophonics, Metallica, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
With years of experience in event marketing and ticket sales, Debbie took the next step in her career by founding The Social Sort. Now going strong for three years, her company specialises in driving ticket sales through strategic marketing and social media. With a deep understanding of the live entertainment industry and a passion for connecting audiences with unforgettable experiences, Debbie continues to help her clients sell out shows, Events and Festivals worldwide.
