Paul Robinson is President of Kartoon Channel Worldwide, responsible for the strategy and operations of Kartoon Studios Inc's branded children's video on demand, FAST, branded block and Pay TV channel. In just over two years from a standing start Kartoon Channel is now in 65 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America and North America and has just released its first theatrical family movie in UK cinemas.

Prior to Kartoon Studios. Paul founded KidsCo in 2005 as a joint venture with NBCUniversal and, as CEO, built it into a global children’s linear and VOD network in 98 countries and in 18 languages worldwide before a 51% controlling sale to NBCUniversal in early 2012. Paul was Managing Director/Senior Vice President of Walt Disney Television International where he created new global channel brands Playhouse Disney (now Disney Junior) and Toon Disney and was responsible for global Disney kid’s strategy for TV content production and broadcast. During his 7 years at Disney, he was based in London and then Burbank, Los Angeles. He was responsible for hundreds of hours of Disney content and channels worldwide.

Paul was Managing Editor of BBC Radio 1 responsible for all programming and music and Head of Strategy for Radios 1, 2, 3 4 and 5Live pioneering the BBC’s future digital services and strategic development of the analogue networks. He has also been CEO of national commercial station Talk Radio and CEO of the Radio Academy. He has a BSc Hons and MBA from Cambridge, Manchester and Bradford Universities and has won numerous awards including Baftas, Emmys and Sonys and is a regular contributor to conferences, podcasts and TV and radio. He hosts a weekly rock show on Boom Radio.
