A creative marketing and communications professional, Rob co-founded the Impakt consultancy in 2019 (as an alliance with Substrakt) to provide strategic support across brand, marketing and advocacy for culture and education. Clients include Aberdeen Performing Arts, Sheffield Theatres, Belgrade Theatre Coventry, The Lowry, Cadogan Hall, Manchester Collective, Opera North, Colmore BID, Birmingham City University, Sport Aberdeen and Coventry City of Culture.

He was previously Marketing Director for Birmingham Hippodrome welcoming paid annual attendance of c.600k to ballet and opera, West End musicals, contemporary dance, international touring, and Pantomime with a smaller studio programme for new work; with c.200k attending free festivals and community programmes.

Rob directed marketing and press, box office and fundraising, with oversight for education, commercial hires and hospitality marketing. Previously he led teams at Warwick Arts Centre, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, and the London Philharmonic.

Rob is a Fellow of the RSA and the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and recently completed the Marketing Week miniMBA in Brand Management and the University of Cambridge’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership programme. He is on the Board of Severn Arts and a Trustee with Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
