Eleanor Lloyd is a multiple Olivier Award winning theatre producer. In June 2024 Eleanor finished her 3.5 year tenure as the elected President of the Society of London Theatre. She continues to serve as Vice-President.
Eleanor currently serves on the board of new writing venue theatre 503, the new producers’ charity Stage One and Bretforton Grange, a rural retreat to support the future of theatre.
As a producer, Eleanor has a passion for developing new plays and innovative revivals, working with bold and creative theatre makers.
Her production of Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution has recently celebrated its 7th birthday at London County Hall.
Recent productions include the West End transfer of Shifters from the Bush Theatre, Mark Gatiss’ adaptation of A Christmas Carol, Eddie Izzard’s Great Expectations and Hamlet, Best of Enemies by James Graham starring Zachary Quinto and David Harewood, Olivier-nominated Vardy v Rooney: The Wagatha Christie Trial, The Collaboration with Paul Bettany and Jeremy Pope (Young Vic London, The Friedman Theater Broadway), Constellations with 4 different casts including Chris O’Dowd, Peter Capaldi and Anna Maxwell-Martin (two Olivier Awards), new feminist play Emilia by Morgan Lloyd-Malcom, which transferred from Shakespeare’s Globe to the Vaudeville Theatre and won three 2020 Olivier Awards, Dusty: The Dusty Springfield Musical by Jonathan Harvey, directed by Maria Friedman, Nell Gwynn by Jessica Swale starring Gemma Arterton, (Olivier Award for Best Comedy), My Night with Reg by Kevin Elyot, Handbagged by Moira Buffini and West End and Broadway seasons of 1984 adapted by Duncan Macmillan and Rob Icke.
