Picniq was founded by former Headteacher and mother of three, Claire Skerrett.
The foundations of Picniq were built back when I was a busy new mum and primary school headteacher looking for fun things to do with my family. I began sharing content about attractions and activities to inspire other parents with the aim of making it easier to get out and about as a family.
We were early adopters of Facebook and quite quickly grew a large online community. With that came demand for us to sell tickets to the attractions and events that we were sharing.
Fast forward to today and with another two children in tow and Picniq has grown to offer a trusted, easy way for people to find and book great value things to do. As a family business we understand the pressures and stresses around making the most of time together. Families are often time poor and seek a personal, trusted connection when making decisions. As a result, we work to ensure that everything we do helps make family time fun!
Picniq has a highly engaged family audience across social media and online, reaching over 1million parents in the UK every week. We are proud of our long-term partnerships with sought after attractions and experiences.
